BM.15 PRO/M
It’s a closed box where the monophonic power amp, thanks to the RAW-P system, provides all the power needed by the 15″ custom speaker, ensuring the maximum SPL (Sound Pressure Level) value.
The exponential driver and custom RED SOUND by SICA® woofer are assembled in COAXIAL DRIVER configuration, eliminating phase problems in the front panel and ensuring a single emission point.
Special Function
BM.15 is the first cabinet in the world that can be used in active mode via the integrated Red Sound power amp and in passive mode via the use of an external power amp.
Active Cabinet Mode:
By placing the Switch in “Active Cabinet” mode, we can use the BM.15 as a normal active cabinet, so all the signal inputs and outputs will be in operation. It is possible to directly connect an active instrument, an analog pedal board or a digital system.
Passive Cabinet Mode:
By setting the Switch to “Passive Cabinet” mode, we can use the BM.15 as a normal passive cabinet, so only the JACK power input “from power head output to RS speaker 500 W 8 Ω” will be in operation. The ON-OFF button of the BM-15 is independent of the “Passive Cabinet” mode, so it is recommended, but not necessary, to set it to OFF mode. In this mode, the use of tube amplifiers is not permitted, but all other types of power amplifiers are permitted.
The transition from one mode to another can occur cyclically even with the Red Sound module active.
It is excellent for use with the Fractal Audio Systems Axe-Fx III, FM9, FM3, and all of our previous amp modeling products as well as 3rd party systems, keyboards, synth bass and more.
The definition, in the frequency range, that affects all instruments, specifically synths, keyboards, guitar, bass, acoustic guitar, thus allowing the musician to perceive every little detail.
PRE-OUT SIGNAL OUTPUT: 1x Jack/XLR Balanced with dedicated gain (output independent of the cabinet master volume). Thanks to this Output it is possible to send the amount of signal needed to the control desk or to an audio card to record the live session. The output signal is taken immediately before the amplification stage.
Totally handcrafted and cared for in the smallest details, it is recommended for professional guitarists and bassists who want to feel the sensation of the amp behind their shoulders.
